• General

This is a 3d model of a chestnut, edible variety. It was scanned and prepared for photorealistic renderings, close-ups, stills, and animation. The chestnut model is ready to be inserted into your scene out of the box.

• Meshes

The brown chestnut model is presented as a single mesh in 2 versions: low and high. Mesh is quad based. The base low model polycount is 3846. Low and High detail models are included in .max and .obj formats. High detail model has 984k quads. Both versions include a separate object fur geometry which can be deleted in case no close-ups are needed to save memory and speed-up rendering. Fuzzy fur geometry counts about 99k polys.

• Materials

.max 2017 files come with Corona 6 and Vray 4.3 materials. Other versions have basic materials, so you will need to adjust them in connection with your particular software.

• Textures

5 maps are supplied with this model. 8192×8192 PNGs and downsampled versions in 2048×2048 JPGs. The maps include ao, diffuse, glossiness, normal, and displacement(tif). A 16K diffuse texture is also included. The chestnut model is uvw unwrapped.

• Formats

The original file was created in 3ds Max 2017 with Corona and Vray materials (6 and 4.3). You will receive a 3DS, OBJ, LWO, FBX, SKP, C4D, 3DM, STL and MAX file(2017).

• Information

All preview images were rendered with Corona. You will get only the chestnut and not the scenes used for the preview renders. Please also take into consideration that the preview images are the result of post-production and the look of the brown chestnut 3d model in your scene may differ due to the specific settings of your scene. The product is ready to render out-of-the-box. Please note that the lights, cameras, and any background not described above objects are not included in the product. The model is clean and alone in the provided files, centered at the origin, and has a real-world scale.
